Dear Parents, Guardians, and Community Members,
Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year at Homestead Senior High School! As we open this thrilling new chapter, I am filled with immense pride for what we have accomplished and an absolute fire to see how far we will go. This year, we are shifting into high gear under our powerful new theme: “Stead”-fast Race to the Top: Full Throttle “A”head!
Looking back at the 2025-2026 school year, our community truly proved what it means to be “Bronco Built.” We set a remarkably high bar, and our students, faculty, and staff didn’t just meet it—they completely redefined it. Thanks to the relentless dedication in our classrooms and the unwavering support from you at home, Homestead Senior High has tentatively secured a “B” school grade for five consecutive years and solidified an incredible, historic 99% graduation rate yet again.
But our victories go far beyond the data. Our campus earned the prestigious honor of being recognized as a 2026 Upstander School, a testament to the safe, inclusive, and empowering culture we build together daily. Furthermore, we enter this year celebrating our third consecutive year as a Magnet School of Excellence, proving that our innovation, career academies, and academic programs remain in a league of their own. From individual student success stories to elite performances in the arts, activities, and athletics, the collective “hard work, heart, and hustle” of our Bronco family is unmatched.
Now, it is time to look at the track ahead. We have laid a flawless foundation, and we know exactly how close we are to the ultimate destination. This year, we are tightening our focus, maximizing our instructional productivity, and leaving no stone unturned. Our eyes are locked onto that top tier: earning our well-deserved “A” school grade.
To reach the winner’s circle, your partnership is our premium fuel. Your involvement—whether it is monitoring homework, staying in close communication with teachers, or cheering from the bleachers—is what keeps our engine running. I encourage you to remain deeply engaged in your child’s educational journey because we are at our fastest and strongest when we drive forward together.
When the green flag drops for this school year, we will have our spark plugs firing on all cylinders. Thank you for your unwavering trust, your steadfast support, and your commitment to excellence.
Get ready to rev those engines, Bronco family—we are moving at full throttle!
